Although the topic of this work aimed at housing, what the program meant more than any other intention was an urban intervention in the village of Noeda.
Thus, all the problems that this site has, the lack of connections was the most I heed (especially with regard to access and relationships with intrinsic neighborhood of Alto da Bela - isolated from the rest of the city, serves as “a city within a city”).
Something I never understood about housing/dwellings are the empty rooms after the children leave the parental home. So, I designed a system of housing typologies which develops this issue, making the house interior through foldable panels, not only in the rooms but also in the common spaces of the house, where it is possible to obtaindifferent variations of the same area.
